If you're looking for a priceless, unforgettable sunset, this is the spot. The back-drop is the younger generations most popular place to express random thoughts, some profanity, bible verses, autographs, and dating highlights. Kinda looks like graffiti, and adding to it is frowned upon but I kinda think it adds a little character. Back to the scenary. The lookout overlooks Lake Wilhelmina, and the edge of Oklahoma. Great view, great picture or selfie spot, absolutely the best lookout for the sun going down behind the mountains.

This place has nice shots of beautiful nature with one small looking lake. In the fall season, this place looks colorful. A very apt spot to click photos.
The opposite side of road has a small wall which has various graffities done by different tourists. You can also do some design on this wall. This slanting wall is used by tourists as small trek to see nearby trees.
A must visit if you are travelling across Talimena scenic drive.

Nice area lots of graffiti. Loved the trump 2024 that's awesome ? the views are spectacular. Very quite and peaceful. Sit there for awhile and take it in.

Had a great day on Talimena.
I ride it as often as I can.
The sun was going down and I had a fabulous afternoon. Rode from Ft Smith to Mena. Took the Talimena. Got gas in Talihina. Then drove on home to Ft Smith. Beautiful scenery the entire way even in the winter.

Talimena scenic drive was an awesome experience. Recently moved to Texas and this was my first long drive to do sightseeing. A days drive to go and come back from Dallas. 55 mile stretch of the scenic drive was quite an experience. Went in the evening where Sun was directly before us towards the end stretch otherwise it was good. Can plan for a picnic and find a good spot for sunset because the sunset was awesome, great place to photograph sunsets or sunrises.

Wonderful view. Perfect day. Started early ended at sunset Vista view, perfect time of year. Next year I'm staying at the lodge. There is a good camping area for tents or mobile homes near the lodge.
