My son bought me an experience for my 60th birthday -- an opportunity to make glass art. I chose the Initial piece to make, picture attached. The studio is amazingly organized and very friendly. My son made an original piece by my side as I pieced together my taupe + cream + white glass pieces after I had painted my "D" navy blue. We had occasional input from the artist who is the studio owner and I felt encouraged by her cheerful confidence! The price and the turnaround time for the artist's role were just right! I love my birthday gift!

Really amazing store! There is so much to look at and best of all they sell glass! I picked up several glass sheets of all sizes. Fully enjoyed my experience here.

Susan is so helpful and kind. The artistry around the shop is amazing, and the projects classes are so fun for the everyone in the family. I can't wait to return and make more holiday decorations! My 6 year old and 3 year old made the ornaments pictured

They have great ideas on glass projects for groups to do.

Some tips to make it better:
1. Be there at least ten minutes early for groups.
2. Have space and supplies prepared for a group that has made an appointment.
3. De-clutter shop
4. Widen walkways. The space felt extremely cramped.
5. Brighter lighting.
6. If you are going to teach classes for kids, make the classroom safe for small children.

This would make your customers experience more enjoyable.

Susan is a great teacher. I have enjoyed working with her and learning the process of making stained glass objects. I have made 4 windows, and look forward to many more projects at Glass From the Past.
