Took the beginners tig welding class with Bill yesterday. He's great and really knows his stuff. Does a great job of teaching. Lots of 1 on 1 time and having never welded anything before (I work in front of a computer all day), it helped me understand a lot quickly. He was always on it with guidance and what I can do to improve in real time as I'm welding (lifting too much, slow down, etc). Was absolutely a great experience and I will be taking his other classes once I can. He also gives great guidance on equipment, where to spend, options, gear, etc. Super helpful, very passionate. Great guy! If you're looking to learn how to weld, I'd absolutely recommend taking a class with him. Class sizes are kept really small so you get a ton of 1 on 1.

The Gear Head experience was awesome! Bill and Patrick were amazing teachers and all around great human beings! I took the starting MIG class and learned a ton in 5 hours! Definitely going to be back for another one of their classes!

Great makerspace with an awesome instructor. Bill is a knowledgeable and patient teacher who is constantly trying out new gear so his classes are equipped with the best stuff available at the time. I stress this because there are teachers who will show you how to do things "the old way" but they don't evolve their course material to incorporate the latest available tech. Bill is always on the lookout for new and exciting machines and his enthusiasm is infectious.

I took the beginner TIG class last weekend and it was great. I purchased a TIG machine recently and wanted to learn the fundamentals to ensure I was practicing correctly and not developing bad habits. I was really happy with the class. Bill is super patient and has a great, natural teaching style. He was assisted by Patrick - another great teacher. I couldn't be happier and will be heading back for more advanced training once I'm comfortable I've got the basics under my belt. Highly recommend these classes!

Very much enjoyed the MIG welding classes I took. Instructor was very knowledgeable, accommodating and patient. I had forgotten my glasses so once he figured that out he provided me with inserts for the welding helmet and next thing you know, stack of dimes. lol Definitely recommend if you know nothing about welding as I did

Bill is an awesome instructor - took the mig welding course and learned a lot - bill is very knowledgeable and it’s a great introductory course - covering the basics and getting you comfortable with the machine and practices.

Screen printing sesh done. Bill is amazing and very knowledgeable. He stuck around to teach me hands-on and made sure I got it down before tear down. It was well past the class time. Good and solid class. They do motorcycle engine, welding, and woodworking classes too. Wild. Recommend.

I recently took a MIG welding class with Bill, and it was a fantastic experience. Bill's combination of kindness, humor, and extensive experience made the class enjoyable and enriching. Prior to the class, my knowledge of welding was limited, but in just five hours, Bill managed to teach me so much. His hands-on teaching style allowed me to practice the techniques right away, and he provided valuable tips and guidance throughout. Bill's passion for welding was evident, and he genuinely cared about our progress. His patience and encouragement created a positive learning environment that fueled our growth. From feeling like a novice, I now feel excited and eager to take on welding projects and continue practicing. If you are looking to learn how to weld for person projects, work, or just for fun - I highly recommend taking this MIG welding class - 5/5!
