Totally late on the review but hey, better late than never.
I was in town for a couple days back in July and decided to hit GTJJ. Garth went over X - Guard, Single Leg X and Sweeps. Garth was very patient and in depth with his teaching. Got in some rolls with the class and everyone was cool and respectful. No one was trying to head hunt which was great. Overall 10/10, would definitely recommend to a friend. Oss!

Garth Taylor Jiu Jitsu is absolutely top notch. Even before I entered the building I was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello. Once I started my trial week everyone including members welcomed me and greeted me with genuine kindness. On the mat I was quickly approached by an experienced member that was willing to help guide me in the moves every time I came for class. I can't say enough good things about Garth Taylor and everyone that I interacted with. I would 100% recommend Garth Taylor Jiu Jitsu as a great place to start (or continue) your Jiu Jitsu journey.

I really like that they have excellent instruction for all levels of Jiu Jitsu and tons of classes offered through out the week. The instructors are awesome, patient, great personalities, great vibes. Mostly a Jiu Jitsu studio but boxing and kickboxing offered as well, the boxing classes are a lot of fun, great workout and teaches fundamentals with sparring at the end of class. I haven't tried the kickboxing yet but it looks awesome and everyone seems to really like it.

Such a great and welcoming place! I’m just visiting the area and was looking for a place to train while I’m in town. I emailed them and they replied that they were more than happy to have me come drop in. After training with them, I can see why they come so highly recommended. Everyone was very welcoming and took time to introduce themselves to me and make me feel at home. Stout was an amazing instructor as well. I’m looking forward to visiting again the next time I’m in town. Thank you again so much for the hospitality!

We are so grateful to have found Garth Taylor. Our boys, 4 and 6, attend the mini-groms and groms classes, respectively. The studio is very clean and has great ventilation, but most importantly the instructors are world class. The are firm with the kids, teach them how to work hard, be respectful, responsible, and take care of others by building awareness. We notice kids pay attention, hold attention, work hard, play hard, and feel extremely accomplished when the instructors honor their efforts in front of the class. Fantastic place!

The owner, Garth Taylor, is a genuinely great guy. He honestly cares about helping people and the world can definitely use a lot more people like him in it. Garth, the teachers and even the students all feel like a family and just are all about helping each other out. Recommending this school to all friends and their kids. I signed my daughter up after a rough experience at another school and this place is what Martial Arts is all about. They teach my daughter great morales, respect for others, and want to help her become a better martial artist. I signed up shortly after I saw the teachers and what the school was all about. Has been a wonderful and welcoming experience. Learning tons, creating friendships, and look forward to each and every class I have time to attend.
