We’ve taken Brian’s class twice now, one for my teen son (intro) and one for myself (women’s class). In both classes, Brian provided excellent (and fun) training and adjusted based on his students’ needs and we still managed to learn the same set of skills. We rode flats, up/down hills, curves, bumpy trails - covered all the basics imho that we were looking for.

Can’t say that the dirt biking by didn’t bit us! We’re looking to get our own bikes and ride trails as soon as we can.

Thank you again for the fun classes, Brian/Kurt!

Our family of 4 just did the intro to dirt class and learned a lot and had a great time. 3 of us had never ridden a motorcycle and by the end were starting, stopping, riding on Brian’s trail system and having a blast. Highly recommend!

I finished the level 1 class earlier today and WOW! I honestly didn’t know I was going to have so much fun. I haven’t been able to shut up about it to anyone I talk to.
I’ve ridden street bikes a little but after a crash 2 years ago, I’ve been nervous to get back on motor bikes since then. Brian was an incredible instructor - patient, knowledgeable, and very attentive to everyone in the class. He kept things fun and explained dirt biking in an easy to understand way. I highly recommend this class regardless of your skill level. You’ll have SO much fun.
Brian also has great bikes, great gear, and a great team. Go book a class today!

Brian Garrahan of Garrahan Off Road Training was very rude to me and is a hater of electric motorcycles. I raced in an event organized by him and AMA District 36 the Donner Harescramble at Donner Ski Ranch. I finished my race for the day and was riding around the pits on my Sur Ron Light Bee responsibly with helmet and riding gear on, talking to some friends there for the hillclimb event. Mr. Garrahan comes up behind me and very rudely proclaims that "THIS IS MY MOUNTAIN YOU WILL NOT RIDE YOUR EBIKE ON THIS MOUNTAIN" like he is the Sheriff and I went and did something wrong. I was like OK confused by why he is being so rude to me. Well I did nothing wrong and he singled me out because I was riding an electric motorcycle. About an hour ago I was racing my electric motorcycle all over his mountain and he didn't like it. I paid with a lot of my hard earned money so I can compete in that event and to get hated on and berated by this man leaves a bad impression of himself and his business. The event itself was not good either. The parking was horrible, not enough bathrooms, registration was a mess, and to top it off they had no finisher pins. I won't be coming back to this event and I will never attend any of his events.

I've been riding occasionally since I was a kid, and Brian's class was my first training course. That class was excellent - it now ranks as one of my top memories. I was introduced to many new techniques and I had many bad habits pointed out. I'll recommend this school to my beginner and experienced riding friends.

Team were great. Note to those with the big ADV litre bikes... leave em at home and use their 250s which are great to learn on the tight learning track for the fundamentals. Great team, positive and encouraging for all of us at all the levels and challenges we were facing. Thoroughly recommend it to get a range of basic techniques. The teaching crew clearly make it look easy, but they break it down into components. And as ever, practice and practice and practice, and then practice some more! The teaching teams insights are super helpful and they seem like super sound guys as well. Thanks very much from an old war horse on an impractical (off road!) big ADV bike. Which still did most of what the 250s did! BUT..Just a lot more painfully. Hot shower and ibuprofen beckons...

I just completed the Women's Only Off Road Training.
I've been riding street bikes for over 10 years but after moving up to an ADV bike, I wanted to start learning off road techniques and start building confidence on dirt (it's so weird to have to be ok with partial traction sometimes and the bike wiggling about to and fro LOL)

I went into this class nervous AF and not knowing what to expect. I told Brian, treat me like a beginner. I was super lucky to have a smaller class so the instruction felt like one on one training. We learned way more than I could've imagined. Basic techniques but also practical skills to get out of some pickles you may find yourself in (i.e. stalling midway up a hill).

Not only was Brian obviously extremely knowledgeable, but he had a kind, chill attitude. And he was patient. All while making sure he tells you what adjustments you need to make.

I thought I'd be white knuckling it too much to have fun but that was not the case. I had a great time while learning valuable skills.
Highly recommend 👌
