Our time with Tiffany at Executive Function Specialists has been completely invaluable to us. For my son, she has been supportive, taught him skills he really needs in a supportive, positive and understanding way. And for my husband and I, she has understood how tough parenting can be and exactly what challenges we are experiencing. We have felt truly cared about as a family while she helped guide us and had great ideas and feedback from working with the school to day to day homework challenges. Tiffany from EF Specialists has been working with our son for over three months and her ability to understand, empathize and help him build confidence has brougjt greater ease into our son’s and family life. Kinyatta from EFS Specialists is the reason my son is still in college and is thriving in his second year. He struggled immensely his first year, and I found EFS Specialists as a last resort before deciding to pull him out of school. I can’t put into words what a positive effect Kinyatta had on my son. He has ADHD, and I wished as he was growing up that I could find someone who could help him learn how to organize and cope with his attention challenges. Kinyatta never gave up on him and if one tool didn’t work, she’d have another and another. She went above and beyond what I ever expected. My son wanted to succeed after starting to work with Kinyatta. I will be eternally grateful for her efforts. Even if your child does not have learning challenges, the lessons in organization and executive skills are invaluable for anyone.

Kinyatta is an incredible Executive Functioning coach. My son started working with her during his senior year in high school. It was a game changer for him and our family. Her coaching style resonated with him and kept him on track for the first time in his four years. It is evident that her heart is in the work she does and she is gifted at working with teenagers. Our son had a track record of falling behind, getting overwhelmed and then shutting down. He lacks basic organizational skills, time management and planning. The tools and resources she used with him helped turn these skills around, which in turn helped him stay on track and do well in his classes. Kinyatta also helped him with the college application process. Her weekly support took pressure off my plate and I was able to just be his mom again. Beyond all that he gained confidence in himself and his abilities. I highly recommend working with a coach and wish we had started sooner!

Our family is working with Kinyatta this school year. It is a great pleasure to work with her. She has worked hard to connect with our son and it is paying off. He is able to see successes in his schoolwork and in some work habits. He doesn’t fight us on meeting with her twice a week. We appreciate her diligence with communicating with his teachers in order to support our son in the best way possible. She is an incredible advocate for him both personally and academically. Most importantly, Kinyatta is well versed in the needs students have as individuals. Her knowledge of learning theory for students who may be neurodivergent is impressive. Overall, we have an excellent experience working with Kinyatta.

Our son has benefitted greatly from his weekly coaching sessions with Kelsey Sinclair. An elementary teacher, she has been patient and really helped our son get and stay organized. It's a night and day difference in the last year. Moreover EFS has periodic seminars in which you can participate and learn about strategies you can employ on your own.

My experience with EF Specialists has been an unexpectedly awesome experience. As a parent of a neurodiverse young adult, I’ve had to become extremely vulnerable to not only seek help (beyond therapists) but also admit that I alone am not the best resource for a child I’ve nurtured all her life. After being waitlisted, then being assigned a member of the EF Specialists group, our lives changed! The best contribution to our family story in 2024 has been the assignment of Kinyatta Reynolds as our Executive Function coach. Kinyatta has the type that of passion for coaching neurodiverse students, that one who assume this is her life’s calling. Kinyatta is direct, detailed oriented, a great listener, familiar with the unique challenges our students face, and most of all she is determined to see her students succeed. I don’t know anyone in my life who is more invested in my kid’s success, that is not family, besides Kinyatta. My only regret is not having met Kinyatta sooner! She has inspired my daughter to set goals, believe in herself, and follow through with her commitments in a way that she never has a student. I believe in the EF Specialist program, and this is because they had the foresight to attract talent like Kinyatta Reynolds.
