Tara is AMAZING! She is so knowledgeable about hair and scalp health. Her vibes and the vibes of the studio are IMPECCABLE. I had a vision I wanted to accomplish with my hair and Tara NAILED it. I will definitely be coming back regularly.

After having a shaved head for multiple years I am having to re-learn how to care for my hair. I really appreciated her advice. She didn’t use high pressure sales tactics to upsell me on some of the products. Instead, I trusted her and decided to purchase some really high quality, natural hair care that will help better the health of my hair and scalp. I just left her chair today and I already notice my scalp and hair feel and look better!

I love getting my hair cut with Tara. She is warm, friendly and caring while she cuts my hair to look great every time. She makes recommendations for better hair care and I can ask questions. The salon is in a great location downtown, so I always treat myself to something fun after my appointment. They also have hair products, handmade jewelry, and some yoga clothes for sale as the salon hosts dance and yoga classes in the back studio 🙂

I have been coming to see Annette at the Estrella Collective for over a year to have my dreadlocks maintenance done. Annette has been doing locs for many years, and was mentored by a highly respected dreadlock artist with decades of experience. She is incredibly talented and does impeccable work. She is super thorough and works quickly and comfortably. I have been very pleased with the end result from every single visit. On top of all of that, Annette is a thrill to be around, is super friendly and kind, has great taste in music, and is a beautiful soul 💖 The salon at Estrella Collective is comfortable, inviting, aesthetically pleasing, and features wonderful local art and crafts. Everyone that works there seems to genuinely enjoy their work, their clients, and each others company.
