What a find! Stopped in based on feedback and reviews. So helpful and a great shop packed with excellent products and service. They also offer sewing machine repair for certain brands and have sewing classes & new machines for sale. Will become a regular customer!

Their customer service is outstanding.when I contacted them regarding an order I didn’t receive they responded right away. The order had been sent to the wrong address. Instead of waiting for it to be returned to them, they expedited a new one to be priority shipped to me. I will be ordering from them in the future! ?

This was my first time going to El Cajon Sew & Vac. My machine had multiple problems. The most wonderful woman sat down with it and immediately did careful troubleshooting and correcting of each problem. I left with a beautifully working machine thanks to her and her extremely kind help, guidance and skill. I highly recommend this wonderful shop.

I took our old sewing machine in for work/repair on a Saturday and they took a look at it right then and there, made some adjustments, and sent me on my way free of charge! I will definitely be going back in to purchase whatever I need, as they also have some great supplies that are hard to find elsewhere.

I reached out to El Cajon Sew & Vac about my four-month-old Singer Futura XL-580. It was completely locked up due to my own negligence. (I had just switched out my thread for a color change, and I didn't realize the end was draped over the hand wheel.)

The owner, Jimmy, responded to my inquiry and said he would take a look at it, and I could come in the very next day. He also gave me a quote.

Yelp automatically sends inquiries to two or three other businesses, who kindly declined working on my Futura.

Jimmy sat down with us and explained not only what he was doing, but how I could do it myself. It took less than a half an hour to get all of the thread out of the machine and back in working order. When I asked how much I owed, he graciously said, "No charge."

Jimmy will be my "go-to" guy for all things embroidery/sewing, including when I am in the market for a new machine. I highly recommend El Cajon Sew & Vac. Thank you so much, Jimmy!

I called after hours on a Friday evening, about 30 mins after their posted closing time, meaning to leave a message. Not only did the owner answer the phone, but generously gave me 30 minutes of his time and knowledge. I am beyond impressed.
