PART 2: A whole bunch of unorganization from that woman. To top it all off, I don't believe she went through her own experiences with any sort of substance and very much let us know how she couldn't wait to retire next year...you shouldn't be in this line of work if you're not there to help. Judgment isn't going to get us anywhere and I've learned that from Paula and David. Dave was my sub for 2 of my classes. My first time with him was absolutely amazing. He is genuine and I was so ecstatic when my last class was with him! It ended my experience on a good note for the time being. Rose had missed my face-to-face phone call and never even emailed me anything about it. I had to call the office and they let me know she was out for the day and she would let me know when she was going to reschedule. This was 2 months ago. She never let me know. I should've been done in July but here we are in the middle of August and I am still waiting. I continue to call the office and they told me on Friday 8/16 that I should expect a call that day. No one called. I waited until Monday hoping that someone would call me. Nothing. I called Tuesday and talked to Kris and she let me know that the coordinating manager (I believe) is in and he is aware of my situation and he will be calling me... I asked when I should be receiving the call and she said that day. I am now going on a week of silence from this company. I have to be the one that has to continuously pester about finishing my classes. If you're still reading this and still thinking about taking their program, beware. That's all I can say BEWARE. It has some light but the negative just blacks out the positive. They take your money and don't hold themselves accountable. -Aneli Hernández

I participated on one of the programs facilitated by David Hedley. He made the entire experience a pleasure during a difficult time. His topics for discussions were informative and highly educational and enlightening. Group discussions were robust and positive with sharing and participation encouraged. One-on-one discussions were highly resonating. Finally, I found Dave to be a highly intelligent and helpful counselor. The rest of the staff that I engaged with were always extremely help as well as the ECS ACCORD.

It’s obviously not for a good reason to come here. It’s annoying and tedious in every sense. They are very thorough about the do’s and don’ts of the program.
I will say, if you’re going to pick a counselor, pick David Hedley. Best dude out there. Understanding, helpful, insightful. He truly made the program enjoyable.

They'll help you out, but depending on the group & educational counselors you get, you may not like their particular teaching style (sometimes they'll permanently rotate another in, other times one may fill in for another for a class). Some are big sticklers for certain things, others are not, it can be a tad flip floppy. If you miss a class unexcused, or are late, $35 you'll pay. If a condition, medication, or just being too tired from a hard day of work for example, makes you appear not to be sober, you'll likely be punted back to courts & dismissed! $65+$35 for the missed class & playing the waiting game for a new slot/re-enrollment in the program. They mention being rather packed usually, so a first run or rerun, you may have to wait a month+ easily to get your classes going. I dislike the nickel & diming aspect, but some feel it's a fair thing if you dip out, or can't make it, or just have a bad day & it shows. If you happen to get Dave as your group counselor, he's very engaging & likeable!! ?

Program took me by surprise. Taught me a lot about life, not just about alcohol or substances. The staff genuinely wants you to succeed and went out of their way to set each of us up for success. Each group was catered to our specific needs. The classes have to follow a stricter guideline, but are worth it. If you can come with an open and honest mind, you will get more than just your moneys worth out of it.

Dave H. was the counselor I had and he actually made the class enjoyable to be there and gave fantastic insight into the laws and how things work. He understood people’s work schedules and worked with everyone. Made himself available always for help if needed. Since my incident was out of county, he really helped me work through it and guided me in the right direction to complete my course.

Dear ECS Accord,
This communication is to share my appreciation for my experience for the tutelage which I experienced during my 9-month program with ECS.
I am truly grateful for the experience I have gone through with ECS, especially the counselor Judy Staples!
I cannot leave out my appreciation for the service provided by the office professionals, as the experience with those professionals, which were top notch as well.
Ms. Judy Staples has demonstrated wonderful methods with connecting with the folks that are required to attend the program. Regardless of the inconvenience, it was truly, for me, an appreciable 9 months.
Although there were substitutions in her absence, that accentuates how truly a consummate professional, who I feel, realizes what people go through, while accentuating the humanness of each and everyone in the program. Thank you, Judy Staples!
The substitutions surely brought value to the folks in attendance; however, the impact of their approach was no way as positively impactful as Judy’s. I appreciated the substitutions as well.
Having broken the law with my indiscretions and mistake, I felt whole from the guidance of Judy Staples. Perhaps others felt the same or different. I am compelled to share my thankfulness of the professionality and approach of Ms. Judy Staples.
In summary, I want to thank ECS Accord and especially Ms. Judy Staples for my experience with the DUI program provided by ECS Accord.
Thank You all,

Go up
