Amy is a multi-talented therapist whose effectiveness centers on her ability to draw from multiple modalities, including acupuncture, Chinese medicine, massage, and detailed blood work. By the way, she gets very attractive pricing for LabCorp services and the data has really helped me "get in touch" with my genetics and be more mindful of those foods and supplements that are best for me. Dr. Amy is amazing! I met with her when I couldn't figure out where my energy had gone. I was having trouble focusing at work and struggling to manage play, parenting, and work in my life. She had me get some labs done and we talked about the results. I’ve been coming to Amy for acupuncture for years now and when she helped heal my chronic lower back pain, it honestly felt like a miracle. Dr Amy has not only helped me physically with acupuncture treatments, she is also a good listener and health coach with multiple disciplinaries advising me on proper supplements to aid with hormonal imbalances. We also went over nutrition & anti inflammatory foods that could be impacting my gut & joint health. She helped me review my lab work & really takes the whole person into consideration. I've seen Dr. Shouse three times now in the last several months. I am so happy that I was referred to her. She's incredibly smart and intuitive. Her office is inviting and comfortable, nothing like most medical offices.
So far she has helped me lower my blood sugars significantly, helped me get appropriate lab work for my specific health questions/issues. I no longer have severe hamstring and calf cramps, which I have endured for years and no other physician was able to help me until I started seeing Dr. Shouse.

Dr. Amy is the best of the best. Not only have I had some amazing acupuncture sessions with her, she was a game changer helping me understand and create solutions with my metabolic health.
