Very friendly owner and atmosphere. We went to eat at lunch so there wasn’t many people. The food was delicious. We ordered the catfish with yams and Mac N Cheese and the BBQ ribs with yams and fried okra. They have weekend night’s entertainment but we didn’t stay to experience the fun. 🤩 Support BB!

Friendly atmosphere, the owner was knowledgeable and very polite.
The food was hands down the best that I have had in some time. Collard greens, fried chicken, corn bread. You won’t be disappointed with this place.

Found a gem while on vacation. The food was the bomb!!! Ordered some of everything to taste and was not disappointed. The owner was very cool and personable. The service was great, and the live music was an added bonus to our spontaneous visit. We'll definitely recommend and be back.

Just stopped into this place for some soul food, was lucky enough a band was playing too. Excellent food, and exceptional service.

Special shout out to Jennifer who heard I was excited to try the hush puppies (that weren't on the menu that day) and went out of her way to make them.

I was skeptical..but the food was great! We had the oxtails, meatloaf, green beens, potatoe salad, black eyed peas & red beans. Oxtails were excellent! @Darryl this is from the couple from Georgia. If you are in Seaside or Monterey…it is worth the stop.

This looks to be primarily in nightclub. When I first came in, it was cold enough that I had to go get my sweatshirt. And I gather it’s pretty popular during the evening hours they have barbecue ribs and etc. After reading the reviews, I have to say I was a little disappointed in my breakfast. I was looking forward to the chicken and waffles, but the waitress informed me that they didn’t have that item or the shrimp and waffle.
The scrambled eggs had a grill taste and were Slightly overcooked. The grits were OK. Just kind of a small portion. The French toast, they got that right. The server was friendly and she concerned that I was satisfied. This may have just been an off day but I would give it another try.

DO NOT GO HERE. I have been to this restaurant twice now, both times a year apart. The first time I went, we were the only ones inside. The food was so god awful, I can only describe it as a hate crime. The drinks were ok, but the service was slow— for only three people in the whole restaurant. I caught slightly sketchy vibes last time as well. Against my better judgment, I returned last night for a party with my friends. We left immediately because the people running the entrance tried to charge us twice for entry fees. They played some kind of weird “did you see him pay? No I did not see him pay” kind of trick.
