Years ago, I and my daughter were ordered to CPI for visitation and the visitation monitors WOULD NOT document my ex's continuous games, excuses, no shows, cancelations, when confronted I was the problem, nevermind they weren't following 5.20 of the documentation education. My daughter was age 9, I haven't seen her since, she was basically abducted legally by many visitation companies that were supposed to document and honestly report back to the court. My daughter is now 21, and we have no relationship because of companies like this. Beware, document everything.

Amazing place with free services. They help you through therapy that truly has made a positive impact on my daughter's life and mine. They even helped me with a one time rental assistance program that saved me from eviction. I have received gas cards and cards for food when things got really hard for me financially. I recommend anyone that needs support as a parent reach out and get on a wait list to get support. The wait list takes a long time so I recommend doing it sooner than later. So grateful to this institute. Thank you. 😊

The instructor was very helpful. Some confusion between identifying the school and the clinic. Location pick was of the clinic. No one answered the door to tell me that classes were given across the parking lot. Definitely noticed some others confused about the same detail.

Nice friendly staff. My instructor was polite and caring and had lots of good insight aside from the actuall class itself. She was more than willing to hang around and answer questions and give advice and resources. I was told that they were working on making it easier to go onto the website and find classes and upcoming course schedules.

This Agency does so much in so many ways to benefit the families of Sonoma County, I almost don’t know where to begin. I guess, from my personal experience as the director of the YWCA’s "A Special Place”, therapeutic preschool program, from 1989 until 1999,approx. is a good place to start. Parenting help for our parents and so many others in the community was unique at the time, and saved so many parents, often single moms, who were struggling to do this important job, for which we had little to no education, at the time. This agency continues to be a “Shining Light’ for parents and children to this day, and is continuing to be innovative as well. Check out the Website to better understand the amazing work the talented professionals who work at CPI do .

I have had TWO HORRIBLE experiences with California Parenting Institute! They are discriminatory, they allowed my daughters father to RUN their show, when I complained they were more concerned I was going to do this out their business than correct the problem, and retaliated against me! Violating my first amendment freedom of speech and California's Anti-SLAPP laws! They will not tell the courts they are 1,5 months out on a waiting list, and therefore help break California Legislation for close and continuing contact. This place is parasitic and feeds off the courts disfunction and aids and abets child kidnapping because they are not honest on what they write which can be used against you later in court.
I would encourage everyone to do everything via email, so you have proof of what they are doing. They allowed my ex to mess around with the court order for weeks when a spot came open and he didn't comply (as Usual) I asked for enough time for a ex parte motion, this place is making so much money they told me too bad we cant hold this spot even though I was on a waiting list for that time slot. If it ain't easy money they don't want you as a client. They would not give me (mother) a week to get the court order needed to see my daughter and its because of them and their unwillingness to work with me they have helped father withhold and abduct my daughter. This is the SECOND TIME!
They refused me service because they didn't want me to complain about the discrimination between bending over for "fathers rights" vs. being equal and giving me the same amount of time to get things straightened out with the court. So, in retaliation they have refused me service, giving father carte blanche to withhold our daughter. This place is only interested in Money, Money, Money, not the best interest of families, dont be fooled, your just a number with a price tag attached to your back!
