My girlfriend and I went yesterday for a little Valentine's Day pottery lesson. This was our first time doing anything with ceramics/pottery so, we were a little nervous and excited. We did the create and destroy class and as a super beginner, I really enjoyed this as my first class. It gives you such a great opportunity to get a feel for ceramics and get used to the flow on how to create things. It also removed the pressure of having to create something by the end of the class. Since it was our first time ever doing ceramics, it was nice to build and destroy and start over with a new piece.

Jessica was a great instructor and really supportive. She's very knowledgeable in different techniques to learn how to work with the clay. She also created a wonderful safe space to encourage folks to get familiar with the clay. She walked around the class and supported us with centering and if we were struggling she would ask permission if we wanted some support.

We definitely plan on doing this again very soon! Thank you Colibrí studio for offering these classes and making it accessible financially to folks. I had never done a pottery class because they tend to cost a lot ($150 and up per person from what I've seen) so it was so great to have the means to do this! 😊

Before going in I was initially a little bit intimidated of the class of being a bit more on the difficult side since pottery is a more complex medium of art, however Jennie was really good at guiding us step by step through it all. She really made us feel comfortable while also being very encouraging and patient as guided us and allowed us to learn at our own pace. It was really a wonderful experience and we had a lot of fun. If you’re thinking about taking a class, I highly recommend Jennie for your experience.

Came here through a referral and signed my kids on short notice. It was my daughter’s birthday today and she’s been asking to do pottery for a while. We had an instructor named Jennie and she was incredible. Very patient and made our experience very positive and fun. Thank you for giving our kids a great time and will definitely come back again.

Really fun and supportive vibes. Sophia is my instructor and she is very knowlegable, kind, and patient. I definitely feel like I've levelled up since having her as a teacher.

Whether it is studio members or other instructors, everyone I've met is so nice and open with sharing their experiences and tips. Although Sophia is my only formal teacher, I've also learned from instructors Sky, Jenny, Jocelyn and Emily through conversation and shared studio time.

Sky is amazing! I took the 2 hour beginner class, it was so much fun! This was my very first time ever making pottery, and my pieces turned out so much better than I thought they would! 10/10 recommend

I am incredibly impressed with their set up. Such a great environment. Jessica, the instructor, is so kind and patient. My wife and I went on a date here and had our first ever pottery experience. I hope that my review encourages someone to go. It’s worth every penny.

Jennie was a really great teacher! I loved how she explained the different techniques very clearly, and the feedback she gave was extremely helpful.I learned so much and am planning on coming back for more classes!

I took the beginner 2 hour wheel throwing class. My instructor was Skylar and she was amazing!! I was lucky and had a small class so I got more attention than say a bigger course but she’s a great instructor and super patient. Helped whenever I asked but also gave me space if I needed it. I had so much fun I decided to sign up for the six week course to better my skills. For the beginning class I was able to make two bowls (see the pic!)

I’ve always wanted to do pottery and I’m glad I did it with this business. Price was cheapest in the area and it was just really fun and worth it.
