My daughters have been working with Scott for six months now and it is the highlight of our week! We absolutely love Scott. He’s there to have fun but teach responsibility and make sure everything runs smoothly. This is a man that knows his horses and is a gem to work with!

Scott is an awesome teacher and great guy! He helped me gain a firm understanding of the fundamentals of western style horsemanship, up to the point where I now feel confident putting on tack and going on a ride on the trail by myself. Scott is an exceptional horseback riding instructor for children. He balances the fun and excitement of horses with the caution of a large breed animal positively. His instruction is clear and relatable for any age child who is in love with riding. He is able to relate to a multitude of learning styles. Scott’s years of experience, love of horses and dedication to teaching are evident in every lesson. Both my children, an older girl and younger boy, are very different personalities from each other and loved horses for different reasons and were at different levels. Scott was able to meet both of them at their level and interests, he makes each lesson a joy and challenges my children to grow at their pace.

I can’t praise Scott highly enough as a riding instructor. His lessons are well designed and customized to fit whatever my needs are on any given day. He’s an expert horseman who has the ability to make even complex topics easily understandable. I’m not an experienced rider, but I never feel like Scott is talking down to me. His guidance and direction are firm but gentle, which makes the lessons fun. Most important, I feel safe with him, that he’s paying close attention to what I’m doing, and to how the horse is responding. I’m so glad I have the opportunity to learn from him.
