Born Free Dog Training has been a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend them enough—especially our trainer, Logan. He is incredibly skilled, friendly, and kind, truly in tune with what both my pup and I need. Logan uses a variety of training tactics tailored to each situation, which has been so helpful in building both my confidence and my dog’s.

His patience and expertise made every session productive and enjoyable. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my pup’s behavior, and I feel much more equipped to handle different situations. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and supportive trainer, Logan at Born Free is the best!

We have been training with them since 2021 and I have always felt like my pup was safe and happy with them. My gsd has learned basic obedience, family dog and service dog skills. Both Jade and Logan (Birdie) love my Xena and treat her like their own and I couldn’t be more grateful! We have done boarding and daycare with them for other dogs too and every single time they have our dogs looking happier than we left them ! Lol
Overall, these trainers have the heart for this work and I’d recommend you try them out. But don’t be fooled! As a dog owner you have to put in WORK to make sure your dog succeeds!

After adopting our 1.5 year old Bentley from the East LA shelter we needed help getting an unusually large cone off this handsome but very skittish pups head and replacing it with one more appropriately sized. Logan answered my call and came to our home to help.

I can’t say enough positive things about head trainer Birdie and his #1 Jade. We have gone through three other trainers before finding Born Free Dog Training. We purchased the 20 day boot camp for our abused rescue Emmy and while it was challenging at first and we didn’t see results right away, we continued on and consistently saw amazing changes in her. She was very insecure, nervous, anxious and dog reactive on leash and didn’t know how to socialize with other dogs off leash. Birdie worked with her day and night and we are now seeing and experiencing a joyful happy four-legged fur baby! He taught her confidence and taught us how to be good pet parents. We will be forever grateful for the time and energy Birdie spent on our sweet girl. I recommend Born Free to anyone who is looking for the best possible outcome for the pup!

We took advantage of Born Free’s board and train obedience program for our two reactive rescues. The assessment to determine their specific types of reactivity/aggression that our dogs received prior to training was extremely thorough. There was immediately responsive communication and updates as well as weekly training sessions that we were involved in. Our dogs are very different dogs now and we are continuing with their training. The best part about Born Free is the love that Logan and his trainers have for our dogs and the confidence they came home with. It is obvious that Logan loves what he does and loves our dogs. I feel so secure knowing that when they are boarded at his facility that they are getting likely more love and attention than at home!

I had an amazing experience with Born Free Training. My little Pomeranian, Teddy, completed the Basic Obedience course and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The course helped Teddy with separation anxiety as well as basic commands and he even learned to socialize with other dogs which was a big issue for him because he used to bark at all the dogs big and small. He even behaves so much better when we go on flights. I used to dread traveling with him because he had so much anxiety inside the crate but he is so calm now and our last trip was a much better experience. I definitely saw the positive impact the course had on Teddy. Birdie and Jade are fantastic trainers. Always available whenever I had questions. You can really tell how much they love their job and Teddy was always thrilled to se them.
