This museum had an exhibit of all the different kinds of art the children at the local schools have access to. Their art is displayed all around the museum and to see the beautiful pieces they created was a real blessing for all that walked through.

Absolutely fabulous! You can tell those in charge at the Bolinas Museum have a passion for local art and history. The museum is cozy but not stuffy, and the rooms of exhibits are full of displays that thoughtfully set up. The Bolinas Museum is a coastal treasure you must experience if you're in town.

A delightful surprise - a diverse and I think significant collection of art from local artists, and a few historical artifacts in a pleasantly maintained courtyard and music garden. And then you are there along the cool northern California coast and the sounds of the birds and sea winds.

And the odd dog or two wandering around ... it is Bolinas after all -- although it is now ridiculously expensive and uber-trendy west Marin County.

First rate and free local museum with several simultaneous exhibits in the heart of downtown BoBo. Friendly informative staff to answer questions. Find a place to park and stroll thru town to and from a friendly place!
