It has been 2 years since we joined JG Academy so this review is way over due.

Since the moment the kids stepped into this academy they have been hooked...The professors and coaches are very dedicated and work with each student to bring out their potential. Just by the progress & growth we have seen in our kids shows us the caliber and commitment their instructors have given them...their confidence level have grown as well..giving them tools to succeed in life...

Our kids also love to compete and being able to cross train with affiliated academies and get the extra training from instructors who also compete is an added benefit for us..so if you are looking for an academy to train and compete this is the one for you!

Both my 7 and 6 year old daughters go here 2-3 times a week and love it! They are usually very timid, but they warmed up to the coaches very quickly and look forward to attending classes. I would highly recommend Ares BJJ Brentwood to adults and children! They are very structured and organized, and are great instructors who actively fight and compete themselves. We enjoy it here and our girls love it!

I highly recommend JG Academy! I had no experience in Jiu Jitsu and they made me feel comfortable. I have gained so much more confidence. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The instructors are great at teaching. If you are on the fence on joining, just do it. You will not regret it.

The instructors at Ares BJJ Brentwood are fantastic! Chance and Javier are both extremely knowledgeable and create a very fun and chill learning environment. I have currently been attending Ares BJJ Brentwood for a little over 6 months and couldn't be happier with my exponential growth in the martial art; credit to Chance and Javier's fantastic teaching abilities! If you want to learn to defend yourself the most efficient way, I highly recommend you come roll with us.

Love this academy. The kids program is amazing. Great instructors that focus on learning, hard work, and having fun. If you are thinking about a martial arts class in Brentwood give these guys a shot.

I trained in the adults classes and loved it. Solid fundamental classes and top notch instructors that really care about your growth. I am looking forward to coming back.

I have been training with JG Academy for a few months now and all the instructors have been really helpful with teaching techniques and applying them during our sparring. I highly recommend coming here if you want to have a friendly atmosphere and get some solid training.

Chance, Breno, and the other coaches are great with the kids. They have patience, and are super engaging. They’re always so friendly and respectful with the students and parents. The facility is very clean. My kids love going and look forward to it everyday 🙂
