My husband and I decided to take a two hour pottery class as an activity for our anniversary. The class was made up of five other individuals, and the time flew by. We were given an introduction to pottery; taught basics; provided with several demonstrations; and then were able to get our hands dirty practicing, failing, and eventually creating a couple items. Bonus: if we were not happy with any of our own creations, we were able to take home a creation made by a pro.

Highly recommend this outdoor activity! It was relaxing, interesting, and fun.

I loved the experience! The teacher was great and patient! You will get messy but the stain clean off. The. He offers to take pictures for you when you are working !

We recently started pottery sessions for our daughter with special needs and have had an excellent experience. Jeff is a great instructor and very patient. We would highly recommend this shop/studio.

We booked a 2 hour Intro to the pottery wheel class.
Jeff was great. Very knowledgeable and great at making sure we learned and understood the proper ways to make a successful piece of pottery. He told us up front, don't expect to be a pro at this in 2 hours. He was right, it takes time to make a presentable piece. And if you listen to his instructions, your success rate will be great.
We came out of the experience with a couple of descent pieces each and a great respect for the artistry of pottery.
Jeff is a great teacher and human being. It was very nice to meet him and learn from him.

Not sure what is up with the bad reviews. I chalk that up to people who are uptight and can't listen to simple instruction. Because Jeff's way of teaching is very easy to follow, if you listen and pay attention.

We highly recommend Jeff and the Art Wheel.
We had a great time and hope to be back soon.

It was a fun and humbling experience!! The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided us plenty of time to practice techniques before creating our own masterpieces.

We had so much fun!! I have never taken a pottery class before & it was great to have the guidance. If you do an evening class, wear a sweatshirt because it’s open to the outdoors. The environment was great!

Host was knowledgeable and fun. The place was spacious and included everything you needed. A few steps away from the beach to catch the late sunset. Perfect!

First time ever joining a pottery class and me and my partner definitely had a blast! It was difficult at first but after a while we were able to take home our finished products! Going to recommend this place to all our friends and family!
