I am glad to see the creative community of teachers and students growing at All Hands. Students come from near and far and the word is spreading that this studio hosts crafting and fine art workshops for all to practice art and have a creative escape. I teach block printing here on a monthly basis and wish I could take every workshop offered.

I took a fun class, “Leather Wallet Making,” at All Hands Workshops lead by Julienne English. It’s a welcoming workspace with downtown parking close by. Julienne is an enthusiastic, friendly instructor who provides clear instruction. And Kendra’s vision for a creative, skills-sharing space is something we all need and can use. A very satisfying day of making gift-able projects. I highly recommend taking or teaching a class here.

Wonderful space - I signed up for a watercolor class through Parks & Rec and am thrilled with this downtown location. Clean, well lit, super friendly place. The owner, Kendra, welcomed everyone personally, and it was easy to feel both at home and inspired.

This place has a great vibe and awesome workshops as well as free drop-in events. I came to their First Friday event and actually took the time to handwrite a letter. All Hands had a variety of nice papers, envelopes, pens and even stamps nicely laid out for people. My friends and I had a great time and will definitely be back.

Just attended my first workshop here and had a truly wonderful time learning new skills and making new friends. Took a macrame class here and it was perfect - just a few hours I had a new skill under my belt, tons of materials to take home and make more with, and great vibes from all the wonderful conversation in the super-inviting space. I was on vacation and was excited to book the night before (there wasn't even anything remotely available in Monterey or in the next couple of weeks except All Hands!)

I'm so excited about this space! I came to a "meet the makers" event and I can't wait to see the magic that this place will bring to Santa Cruz. Beautiful, easy going place for creators to come together, learn, share, and grow !
