AKI Training Center was great! Kathy made the process of getting my guard card and firearm license super easy. All you need to do is listen to what she says and don't ask stupid questions. She's straight forward so if you're "soft" this isn't the place for you and being in security isn't for you either. She's there to help everyone who is willing to listen. Anyone looking to get into security, this is the place to go.

Kathy is very strict and a no nonsense Instructor. You LISTEN to her and don’t talk unless she asks you to ..that is the fundamental rule of her castle. She has no tolerance for impatience or interruptions and is a one of a kind person she is a real professional and definitely does her job well so don’t question her reasoning . Class is intense and educational.

Worst service I went there to renew my guard card no one was in her office waiting 4-5 people were watching the video in different room so she told me they came first I have to take care of them first but they weren’t there to renew guard card she could easily finish my job in 10 min but she took 3 hours and at the end system all of a sudden stop working for every one else it did work but not for me she just said come back tomorrow it’s like I have no life I have to spend time to go there again to just renew guard card

Need a guard card? Definitely get your 8 hours completed here. Pricing and explanation was straight forward and more than fair compared to other training centers thanks to Kathy. Kathy went through all the material, and document process needed to complete guard card requirements, livescan, etc. Thanks to her, the process for everything was straight forward and BSIS DOJ application was actually approved within 24 hours (others may vary depending on background). I will be returning to complete Armed Guard training and Baton Training ASAP. If doing whole 8 hour day bring a lunch/snack/water bottle/etc.
