Was out in the Bay Area for a work trip and decided to stay and take a Friday afternoon surf lesson. Our instructor at Santa Cruz was a perfect fit! He gave us good simple tips to get us going, helped us integrate with the group of other surfers which seems as they all knew and respected him, and we had a good time because he always put us in a position to catch the waves! Great way to finish a work trip!

Fantastic day climbing at Castle Rock with my two kids. Neither of them had ever climbed outdoors before. Our guide, Wes, was friendly and patient and a great teacher. Lots of fun, highly recommend.

My husband and I did the two day class and had a blast! The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. The companies communication ahead of time was great. The whole experience was so laid back and awesome. Definitely recommend everyone trying surfing once. We will definitely get back on a board.

I recently took four days of surf lessons from this group and had an exceptional experience.

Every interaction that I had with AO was top-notch.

As I was researching and comparing different programs, I immediately noticed how well designed the webpage was. The class overviews and scheduling are very easy to understand and use. All of the questions that I submitted were answered very promptly and communication was always clear and detailed.

My classes were primarily with Chase. Chase is a talented instructor in his ability to be both technical and personable. I have taken some surf lessons before and I can say that the instruction provided was so much more than just a "surf lesson". There was good discussion and insight around surfing, reading the waves and water conditions, how the line-up functions, etiquette, safety, etc.

I also had the opportunity to surf with Adam one day and he was a great instructor as well.

My experience with this company was so A+ that I have already signed up for additional surf lessons and wilderness classes.

I was visiting CA from the East Coast and decided to sign up for a surf lesson to experience the Pacific Ocean waves. Even though I'd surfed before (still an intermediate newbie, though), the class was well worth it. The instructors were fantastic not just in giving tips about reading the waves and current, but just in what surfing is all about--having fun and fully being present in the experience of feeling the wave move beneath the board.

My sister, who was afraid to go, sat a watched for a bit. She saw how much fun we were having and decided that she's going to sign up for a lesson.

I have been working with these folks for over ten years and they are the best. With teen scouts in tow we have learned to survive in the wilderness and climb to the highest peak. They are great at making it fun to learn new skills and helping you achieive what they thought was impossible. Instructors are awesome! You should book your class NOW.

We went to the 2-day beginner surf camp in Pacifica and it was amazing! James, John, Allen, etc were great instructors. Highly recommend and we might go back to them for an intermediate camp at some point!
