I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Advantage Testing, particularly our daughter's SSAT tutor, Stefani. She has a remarkable ability to connect with students and break down complex concepts into manageable pieces, quickly identifying our daughter's strengths and areas for improvement to create a personalized study plan. When our kid was struggling with getting the homework done, Stefani broke it down into daily chunks and texted her cute reminders. She is so patient and encouraging and she really knew the SSAT format and content. Under her guidance, our daughter's confidence grew tremendously, and she actually looked forward to her tutoring sessions - something I never expected when we started this process. The scheduling process was seamless, communication was consistent, and the results speak for themselves - our daughter felt fully prepared and confident when she tested. Gus even advised us on which tests to submit and how. Before working with Advantage Testing, I had been struggling through self-studying and group LSAT classes. Gus from Advantage Testing of Silicon Valley was amazing for ACT test prep! Prepping for the ACT was very challenging and I worked with multiple people, but Gus was by far my favorite. By the end, I raised my score several points across subjects and ended up at a school I love. Since I had such a wonderful experience working with Gus for ACT prep, I also worked with him on college essays and he provided me with valuable feedback that I didn’t find anywhere else. I would highly recommend working with Gus. He is a lovely person and very effective!

Gus is an INCREDIBLE tutor. My son looked forward to the tutoring sessions. Gus is incredibly smart and patient, and really connected with my son. He tailored his tutoring approach to the way my son learns. He had great anecdotes and tricks to remember things and had specific methodologies for approaching different types of questions that were really helpful.
And most importantly we saw some SERIOUS results when comparing the test score pre-tutoring to the test score post tutoring!!
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to work with Gus and team.

With a very short timeline to prepare, we were on a mission to quickly find test prep support for our high-schooler. I was impressed with the organization from the start. Gus responded to my inquiry quickly and thoughtfully. He described an available tutor as “a rockstar” and she was just as promised. She immediately connected with my son, offered as much of her time as he could manage, and understood the task at hand. She managed my expectation and his, built his confidence and was incredibly easy and adaptable to his needs and learning style. They all around FAR exceeded our expectations.

These guys are totally first rate. We've worked with them as needed since 2006; most of their tutors are extremely high achievers from top rate universities with a tremendous ability to teach students how to perform well on standardized tests.

AT starts with a diagnostic to identify a student's area of needs and then focuses on improving a students weaker academic areas while also enhancing a students stronger areas. This makes for an efficient use of study time to maximize results in a reasonable time frame.
