Our family recently did a 4 hour climbing excursion and had an absolute blast! Our guide, Jon, was top notch. He made us feel safe, yet challenged the entire time. What really stood out to me was that John taught us all how to tie in and belay one another. Often times, during excursions like this, the guide does it all and you just climb. I think it added another layer for our family to work together and trust one another as we took on different climbing routes. Now my son won't stop talking about when we can climb again! I highly recommend checking them out.

My 2 teenagers and 1 pre-teen went climbing with Adam. They had an awesome time. They said Adam was great was great and made their experience perfect. I would highly recommend this company if you’re looking to climb in Acadia.

We were a group of 5. Mark was our guide and we had an amazing experience. We did 2 beautiful climbs with excellent views around otter cliff. Highly recommend.

Do not book unless you know the conditions. They will not refund your tour if there is bad weather, even if you feel it is unsafe. This was my first time climbing outside and they still wanted to go during heavy rainfall. I got somewhat lucky by rescheduling for an evening climb but this still jipped me 52$ as it's cheaper to do an evening climb than a half day climb (it's shorter too). Climbing itself was fun, but overall I'd look elsewhere. Will definitely not be booking with them again, terrible business practices (they don't even provide chalk!)

Ryan was a great guide. He let me work through the climbs on my own and only assisted or gave advice when I asked for it. I would definitely recommend Acadia Mountain Guides. It's such a good value!

This rock climbing experience was awesome!! Even with all the wonderful things to do and see around Bar Harbor and Arcadia, this was my favorite part of my vacation. If you have any iota of athleticism and adventurousness, I highly recommend rock climbing through Arcadia Mountain Guides. Our guide, Jacob, did an excellent job as well. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to go with. 10/10 experience, lots of fun, would recommend and go again.

We just did our second rock climbing experience with Acadia Mountain Guides and another great time. Last year we climbed at Otter Cliffs and this year our guide Jess took us near the Bubbles. Jess was very friendly, patient, and informative. She tailored the climbs to our ability level very well. Highly recommend.
