My 3 boys LOVED Makos! The counselors are super fun, and good at getting the kids up and riding in days (or hours!). Lots of different sized boards to experiment with. My boys were happy and mellow at pick up, and dead tired by bedtime. Thanks Makos!

Three of my Grandchildren went to the Silverstrand Beach surf camp. Two of them were pretty successful surfing on their own this year. I was very happy that the instructors were encouraging them to try and then telling them what they could do better. This beach was outstanding! Clean and easy to get to and flat unlike the camp near the Harbor. We will definitely sign up again next year!

Amazing job!! Grandkids and hubby did a private lesson and loved it! Their instructor was fun and top notch!
Also, watched the Silverstrand Beach surf camp going on all week and those kids were having a blast. You can tell the instructors really put their all into it. Great job!!! We will be back!

When I visited Channel islands last week, I met Christian & got a flyer for his Surfing Camp. My wife called them up later & had setup a session for me the very next day.

I learnt my first Surfing basics from Ventura Makos. Vento was my trainer, he was very good and had great patience with a first timer like me.

I've visited California from New Jersey & wanted to learn Surfing there. My wife gifted me this Surfing experience as my birthday gift. I wish I was there another few days so I could have learnt few more sessions.

Makos Surf Camp is my son's hands-down favorite. He loves getting out in the waves with other kids and the stoked instructors.
