Reviews of Dry Creek Ranch Golf Course

I will give them zero star if I can. Site said $55 when we booked, then we got charged $65. I will never go back here even if it's free. I should trusted the reviews, and y'all have me trust me on this. The overall course condition is unplayable.

They charge $60.00 to put on these greens. The course is Impossible to have a serious round. Many of the greens are inaccessible due to overgrown foliage.

Decent Course, Terrible Management
The course itself is fine—fairways and greens are in decent condition—but the experience was ruined by the general manager/owner. They seem more concerned with enforcing rigid policies than creating a welcoming environment. I encountered an issue where a small exception could have easily been made, but the GM refused to budge, coming across as dismissive and unaccommodating. GM also raised his voice and stood in a dominant posture when speaking to me. It felt like customer service was not a priority here. Would not recommend unless you’re prepared to follow every rule to the letter, no matter the circumstance.

I would play this course again.
I wish I had more photos to share however most photos you see are valid. Biggest issue this course has is the greens, most greens struggle with dirt patches and weeds, however this is mostly around the edges and should you find yourself within 25-30ft of any pin you should be just fine. The pro shop is smaller however there are good deals to be had in here. The bathrooms aren't the most conventional but I have seen much worse conditions at other courses.
All that being said I had a blast here with my buddy and a random we paired with, the course feels huge and the fairways are forgiving, having to drive under the freeway to get to the other side of the course is great, Some really good holes to be had at this course. My favorite part of this course was the practice range. The balls were a great price and the range is tucked off away from the course and nestled in it's own little valley, it's quiet and getting here early is great to get you dialed in before 18, though don't expect a stellar backdrop as its rugged terrain with scattered range marker.
This could be a difficult course for some but only due to green conditions, I still managed to just beat my average and the random we paired with shot a 78 and he showed up hungover and he only managed to complain when he smoked an iron otherwise he handled everything like a champ. My buddy however.... not so good day.

Nice golf course and is fairly challenging to play. Many trees on the course, almost too many and their presence DOES impact your game. Many of the greens are in sub par shape and need attention. of the 18 greens, two were in outstanding shape. I WOULD play the course again but the course needs more love which translates into putting more of the budget into the course. I did see the new bridge and am glad we did get off to an early start because it is a course that does get significant play.
The kitchen and bar needs some upgrading.

On New Year's Eve, a buddy and I played Dry Creek GC in Gault. It was a cold, wet, and foggy day. The range was closed due to flooding. The putting green was open and in good shape.
The first tee box was in ok condition but did need maintenance (as others do - see photos).
The fairways showed a lack of maintenance. They had not been mowed for several weeks and had broken branches, twigs, etc., cluttering the course.
While the course is named Dry Creek, it wasn't - which is good. This year had been dry so it is good to see the rain and resulting water in the creeks and lakes.
The course has two new bridges, is well constructed, and looks great (see photos). Well done!
The greens show disrepair. The fungus has hit most of them, so putting was a challenge in most instances (see photos).
The cart paths also need maintenance (see photo). I had difficulty staying dry and mud-free while driving the cart.
After the round, we hit the cafe and bar. The food and beverage were good (see photo). The live fireplace is a nice touch.
Overall, I like the track. However, there are many maintenance issues to address. I look forward to returning after repairs.

I’ll be honest, I take my brothers here to golf cause they’re more serious about the game. They like the course. I come here for the chicken katsu and the bloody marys. It’s so delicious I’ll go by myself to get one.

This park is huge, they have many different gardens, several sections of shaded lawn area with barbecue areas. Even a zoo and a small carnival for the children.
