Today marks my 1 yr anniversary with LSC and it has been the best physical journey of my life. After two c-sections in less than two years I struggled to get back to being strong and healthy. I tried several programs on my own and nothing worked for me. I was extremely out of physical shape and low muscle tone and I just kept getting injured when trying to train on my own. My goal is to be the athlete I used to be but my body could not be treated the same way after the surgeries. After doing some research, Steve's program called out to me. He designs his programs to appropriately train yourself, both body and mind to become "better, faster, stronger". In the past year I have worked harder than I ever have and I am accomplishing things I never thought I would do in my lifetime, let alone in a year's time. I am physically and mentally in such a better place since I found Steve and his associates and I never felt like I was going to get hurt or that I was being pushed to over do it. I no longer struggle with random aches and pains in my joints and the soreness I have now is from working my body hard, the way it is intended to be used.! I have been going to legendary strength for a year now, and not only has my body changed completely but so has my perspective on going to the gym. This is a training facility with the best equipment and highest quality coaches I have every interacted with, and the methodology of working with the best has infected my mind to change me into thinking about being the best version of myself each day.

It is expensive but the expertise, individual attention and customization that goes into all of the training sessions will mold you into a new person if you can commit to improving yourself. The coaches do an amazing job making sure you will not hurt yourself and making sure your form is perfect on every rep.

In a year I have changed the way I look and feel about my body and I have seen everyone in my classes do the same. If you want to do the same, I would recommend you come to legendary strength as well.

I've had 3 sessions with Steve so far and will be working with him for a few months while I recover from an injury. I came to Legendary Strength after feeling shamed by my previous physical therapist at an unrelated location. I'm not an athlete and this is the first time I've ever trained in a gym, so I worried about feeling really out of place here. Luckily this was not at all the case! Steve takes the time to listen to my concerns and background, is meticulous in addressing each point I've made, and is empathetic without judgement. He talks me through every exercise, every component of our work together, and was honest with me about what to expect. What I didn't anticipate but find very reassuring is that Steve watches me with undivided attention to make sure I'm keeping good form. He takes the extra time to explain to me the background of how my body works and how each of my exercises, stretches, and massage work in synergy to improve my body. I feel welcome and supported here, and inspired to create a new version of myself. 11/10 would recommend.

I’ve been coming to Legendary Strength consistently for 9 months now. I’ve been impressed by how friendly and welcoming all the coaches are (in addition to the clientele). This isn’t one of those intimidating strength training gyms where the coaches are too self-important to acknowledge you. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable about building stronger bodies and makes sure to thoroughly explain to you the physiology and mechanics behind the training sessions he designs for us. Steve’s passion for strength training is infectious and it’s definitely one of the reasons I’ve been able to stay so consistent with my training sessions. Additionally, Steve has taken great care to ensure that only the highest quality equipment is in the gym (he’s even designed some of it himself!). I always leave the gym feeling better, even if I entered it with a dark cloud over my head. I’m truly grateful I found this gym. It’s made both my mental and physical health better. He pay's attention to every detail and is incredibly knowledgeable. Being a D1 athlete previously, this amount of detail was important to me when it came to training. LS strength is such a big part of my life, so much so that when I moved to a new city, I built a home gym and continue to call into the group trainings. I'm 58 years old and have exercised much of my life, but generally doing cardio and lifting light weights. I've been working with Steve for about four months now and have made tremendous gains.

We started with an assessment where Steve evaluated my skill level (definitely a beginner,) mobility, weaknesses, and imbalances, etc. and developed a training plan specific to me. Through the one-on-one coaching I've learned not only how to properly perform the exercises to prevent injury, but with focus on my personal weaknesses and imbalances, I am standing straighter, my shoulders are getting back where they belong, and I've overcome mental roadblocks that were keeping me from lifting heavier weights and making significant gains.

Steve's program isn't just about learning to lift and lifting heavier weights, it is training to be athletic and to develop, as he would say, a 'suit of armor.' His program incorporates dynamic days (lifting weights with bands and/or chains added,) max effort days, and 'alactic energy system' days in a way that re-builds your body from the ground up. Additionally, the structured training program and classes allow me to train and recover consistently six days per week and enjoy training with a group of like-minded men and women.
