Fantastic . Recommend a weekday class which allows more hands on instruction. Learned the history of pottery in the region. A great class with shipping for out of town visitors

Me and my sister did the play with clay class and had a blast. Was a great first time throwing clay on a wheel (I have no natural talent) and got to make some cool pieces. The lady who owns the studio is very friendly and said you should book this class directly through her website rather than Airbnb or other sites because it’s cheaper. I thought that was nice of her to mention. You’ll get to make up to five pieces and decide which ones you want to keep. Then if you’re local enough, you can come back and glaze it yourself which I plan on doing

We had a great time at Firestick! Really talented staff and awesome to see the advanced work that they have on display and for sale as inspiration before the class. They were very hands on and helpful. Took the class with my six-year old who had a great time and loved learning about the pottery wheel. We used the option for staff to finish the pots and glaze them, and then they were shipped to us. They turned out even better than I expected, and it was like Christmas for my six-year old opening up the package when it arrived. Highly recommend. Thanks!

I had a great time playing with Clay.
I made 3 small shallow bowels, which was harder than you'd think.
They also had beautiful succulents

Expect large and uncontrolled pit bull mixed dogs to be off leash here
These dogs belong to the owner, who is an elderly.

The owner herself has told me that any concern here is an over exaggeration. I spoke to another person taking lessons there and she said a lot of people have this complaint.

I would not recommend this place even if it were free

We love Robin as well as all her other teachers there. They really teach you and show you with much attention and care. Myself and my daughters practiced on the wheel and had so much fun. What a great experience.
