Chris was awesome! I would not have been able to have a fantastic 2023-2024 ski season without his help.

For context, I had a minor fracture on my left leg Feb 2021 (crashed by a snowboarder), then broke my right leg badly (rotation fracture needing emergency surgery after a solo skiing accident) in Mar 2022. I missed 2022-2023 ski season entirely (not cleared to ski yet), and just got back to skiing in Dec 2023. Needless to say, I was very shaky then.

Chris got recommended to me by a friend, and we started to work together to build up my strength and flexibility. He assessed my situation and condition, and created a custom exercise regime for me tailored to my schedule. Within days, he got rid of my knee pains that I use to get when skiing!

Over the following 8 weeks, his program strengthened the right muscle groups for me to improve my skiing and helped me to become a better skier than I used to be before my accident! He adapted the program week over week depending on my progress and any new weaknesses discovered as various muscle groups improved. As a result, I can now confidently handle any black groomed runs. I was never able to ski powder before my accidents, but can now confidently handle any blue-level deep powder runs.

I started working with Chris 3 months ago and have had huge improvements with the “twinges” in my left knee. This winter I was starting to experience more frequent “twinges” and pain in my left knee when snowboarding and playing sand volleyball. This has been an issue in the past but I wasn’t concerned until this year. The pain got so frequent I was worried I may not be able to continue to do the activities I love. After starting ATG, I noticed improvement with the pain almost immediately. The exercises I am doing have improved overall strength and stability in my knees. I have been progressing with form and strength in other areas as well. Throughout the program, we discovered an imbalance of my quads being significantly weaker than my glutes and hamstrings. From prior lifting experience I had been taught to always engage glutes and hamstrings in leg exercises. We are now working to even out the imbalance and have been focusing on strengthening my quads. Chris is quick to respond when I have questions about workouts, form or need advice on trying to improve bad habits. He has also helped and encouraged me with my nutrition goals. He is very thorough when going over form and always takes time to answer my questions with great detail. I highly recommend Chris to whoever is considering working with him in any area of his expertise! I hope to work with Chris in the future to improve my snowboard skills as well!

I have been working with Chris for fours months now and i could not be more happy with the training and the results. Chris takes real attention to details to assure that my body has what it needs for the exercises whether that be proper mobility or joint strength. His workouts are very complex, well thought out and taylormade to my bodies needs and aspirations. I really couldn’t recommend Chris enough.
