I have gone on a few private adventures with Connor since we met over a year ago- Mount Whitney, bear creek spire, backcountry skiing and rock climbing in Tahoe and crystal crag, and a recent trip to Europe. Connor is very knowledgeable, always conscious about safety and what the client desires, a great teacher, and so much fun to hang out with. He’s the best guide that I have hired and I have so much respect for him. As a physician with high expectations, Connor has exceeded them and I truly trust him with my life! I will never go to another guiding agency- give Valhalla a try and you will not be disappointed!

I took my AIARE 1 with Connor in December and was impressed by his wealth of knowledge and ability to teach. The small group size of our course let us really delve into certain topics and learn information that we would never be able to in a larger course. IF you are going to take any AIARE course, take it with Valhalla!

Took my avy 1 course with Conner and was blown away by the expertise. The small group size made it really easy to focus on our individual wants and desires from the course. Him being an IFMGA guide gave him so many interesting and informative stories to help us learn. I wouldn't recommend anyone more than Conner.

Climbed Bear Creek Spire last weekend with Valhalla Mountain Guides and their guide Ben Harclerode. The entire trip was perfect! Valhalla handled all of the logistics, which went off without a hitch. Meals at the campsite were very good with a well thought-out and flavorful menu. The climb itself was amazing, the Sierras are just beautiful. Ben was an outgoing, very experienced guide and obviously a skilled climber. He was extremely safety conscious; allowed me to take my time on some of the more difficult pitches and was very encouraging throughout. I know this is a relatively new company but I can confidently say they have the right approach to client service, safety and adventure experience. I have used many of the big guiding companies - - you know the names - - and Valhalla can run with the big boys. I will definitely use them again.

Took a great Avy 1 course on Donner Summit. Connor was an amazing lead guide & instructor. Clear communicator, organized and fun to be in the back country with. We did beacon training, dug pits, learned all about snow structure and got some real world experience.

I feel much more comfortable assessing risk on those questionable days/lines.

Thanks, Connor
