The children’s reading program on Tuesday mornings is great! My grand-daughter mostly likes the songs and being with other kids. My grand-daughter is almost 2 and the librarian is patient with all the kids. After storytime is a craft if people want to stay.

This library has an incredibly affordable bookstore attached to it! Like $1 books! Excellent service, such nice people even on a scorching hot day. Organized well too!

We love this library! The librarians are super nice and they have a large children's book section. The have events and free give aways for children every month (check their events page). My 2yo daughter loves to visit often and has a blast picking out books and coloring at the kids table.

I am an attorney, and I thought this would be a great place to get work done when I don't want to go to my office in Sacramento. But every afternoon at 3 it turns into a day care center with no supervision. Kids come in and are loud and disrespectful, at tables and the computer area. I guess I don't understand what the purpose is for a library anymore. Hardly anyone is there to get books, etc. For the life of me I can't figure out what the people sitting there on their computers are doing, there's very little stuff in there.
Can't you have a quiet area?

The librarian was training a new librarian so it was not quiet and that was fine because there was like four total people in there. I owe hella back fines so I lied and said I didn't have my card and they just printed me out a slip and I used the computer to print out my shipping label and I was on my way. Very convenient, thanks librarian and librarian in training. Y'all the shining stars ?

Quite a nice library!! The staff were nice, at the bookstore the volunteers were helpful and very nice!! Lots of good books, nice kids section, CDs, puzzles, etc.
