If you're looking for a traditional welding school, this aint it. This is a 4 month program introducing you to welding. To leave this school after 4 months being certified is up to you and how quickly you're able to learn these skills.

There are a few negatives:

1. Parking: you'll be hard pressed finding a spot on Boston ave, Newton ave, or Main st with the dock workers also searching for parking spots in the morning.

2. For you U.S. Miltitary veterans This program will use 11 months of your GI Bill, and 98% of your annual tuition for the calendar year.

Now the positives:

1. Faculty: Dean of Welding, Teachers, and Teacher Assistants are knowledgeable on what they teach.

2. WFW has a free food pantry & business clothing closet which countless students & faculty use.

3. WFW holds several "Lunch & Learns"

4. The galley provides free meals, Won't find that anywhere else.

Parking is a bust. God help you if it rains. They take 12 months from your G.I. bill for basic welding, do your homework. They need more instructors to students ratio.

0/10. Would not recommend. Fraudulent advertising. Parking not adequate.
You can be Jesus Christ himself, and they will not accept you.
I wonder how many other veterans have been denied from fraudulent advertising. Helping some but not all veterans.

Good school, I learn new stuff every day. It is fast paced but its manageable and the instructor and teaching assistants are all extremely friendly and helpful. Machinist class Fall 2023.

On my first phone call to schedule a tour of the campus as a student, they wanted my DD214 emailed over. PII anyone? They do not accept the GI bill, which they seemed hesitant to tell me after asking them multiple times if they accept it.
I told the rep I was not going to email my DD214 until I had toured the campus first. Then they said that they only keep them on file if I intend to be a student. It didn't make any sense to say that after telling me that they need my DD214 in order to schedule a tour. We managed to come to an agreement that I would show up 15 minutes prior to my appointment to make copies of my paperwork. I asked them about parking and let them know that my wife would be meeting me there to come along for the tour and that we'd arrive in two big vehicles. They said it was not a problem and that parking would be available for us inside the gate. Day of appointment, I arrived first 15 minutes prior, checked in and was asked to go somewhere else for 30 minutes because they were not ready for me. My wife showed up, and a lady ran down the stairs waving at us telling me that we're supposed to park on the street and not inside the gate. We left. Very bad first impressions and I went with my gut to just not even do the tour. If that's the standard of their service, then I can't bring myself to try and consider this place as potentially a place I want to attend.
