Big shout out to Alan for making our stay perfect. This quaint property has all the makings of a fun family resort. Unfortunately this week was in the middle of a 100+ degree heatwave so hanging out wasn’t in the cards. We were inside with the AC on or on the Lake. Alan stopped by several times to make sure everything was perfect for us and our dogs. We felt so welcomed. He hauled our trash, provided firewood, and gave us directions to a cool beach spot on Lake Briton.

Regardless of the heat, the amenities were exactly what we were looking for! Full hookups, clean, peace & quiet, friendly neighbors, etc. Our shady spot was perfect for our dogs that we had fenced in around our trailer.

If Burney Falls is on your bucket list, this is the place to bring your RV!

We were heading to the North coast redwoods with our granddaughter and wanted to stay at Burney falls. We found this awesome RV park nestled in the woods, it was a great stopover Alan was a very gracious host and made sure we were more than comfortable in our space. He also provided fire wood for the fire pits. And checked on us on ocassion as he toured through the park.

We honestly couldn’t ask more from our stay, Allen is great, provides us fresh eggs, fresh water and also showed us around. Much more than an RV park. He has many games on the ground basketball, soccer and a few other things. Don’t forget to ask him a tour in the souvenir shop.

I found Burney Falls Resort RV Park by accident. I wanted to get close to the falls but had not done any research on where I was going to stay. I rolled in about 7:30 at night and the owner greeted me with a great big smile and welcoming energy, I was so pleased to have stayed! I was only going to stay for one night but ended up extending an extra night because the owner was so interesting and engaging. The campground has a secured entrance and an eclectic vibe, the pool area is well maintained, and there was a building that said fitness center but I did not go in to see what it looked like. I did not use any of the onsite facilities- bathroom or laundry, so I can not speak to that. If you get the chance to some time chatting with Allen at the park you won't be disappointed. He has great energy and will go out of his way to make you feel welcome and ensure that you enjoy your time at Burney Falls.

This resort is definitely open for business. We made a reservation in advance and the proprietor was there to greet us when we arrived. The park is very secure with 24hr gated security. It is very close to Burney Falls, the perfect place to stay if you have an RV. The proprietor, Alan is very accommodating. He was available by text for any questions we had. He brought firewood for our daily campfire and helped us get settled in. The facility was very comfortable with ample shaded spots and lots of surrounding forest. The neighbor brought us fresh trout from his daily fishing adventure, which we cooked it up on our campfire for a truly amazing meal. We will definitely be back, this is a magical place.

Of course Bernie Falls itself is absolutely gorgeous. But what I did not like was being charged $10 to park and then told that we are not allowed to take our dog on a leash down to the bottom of the falls. This meant my wife and I had to take turns taking the walkway down to the falls while the dog was only allowed to be on the upper walkway. Paying to be told where I could take my dog and the outdoors is not my idea of any kind of relaxing enjoying day not to mention we were completely surrounded by many other tourists from all over it was actually quite crowded. I personally prefer a more private place where I can listen to the sounds of nature and have more Peace and Freedom. If I ever go back it will be only to show family members the magnificent waterfalls but it is not a place I will personally go back on my own.

Our stay here was great! The RV Park is close to Burney Falls and McCloud. We actually walked to the falls from the resort (about 4 miles total) but it was a great day. The owner, Alan, is awesome and you can tell he cares about your experience here. He even accommodated our late arrival and helped us set up our hookups in the dark. The bathrooms were cleaned very well and I felt like the staff cared about the cleanliness of the park. Overall we had a great experience here and felt very well taken care of.

The new owner, Allan, purchased this RV Park, four months ago (Spring of 2019) and is working tirelessly to improve the place. It is already very acceptable - clean, nice bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. The individual sites are spacious. The Park is located only four miles from Burney Falls State Park with abundant opportunities for beautiful sightseeing, hiking, biking, and boating. This is a very quiet and peaceful location.
