I have been attending the women’s self defense classes and my experience has been incredible. Coach Joe is super friendly , knowledgeable and has a very welcoming environment. For someone like me with no background in Jujitsu , I found her classes very informative and helpful. She has definitely helped improve my knowledge and confidence to use these skills for self protection. Everyone else in the class is also super supportive. Highly recommend this place.

10th Planet Daly City is an exceptional gym to train at with several Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, Boxing, and Bodyweight conditioning class options available (kids, teens, adults).

The most exciting aspect of this gym is the friendly and encouraging culture created by the coaches and students.

I didn’t have a good sports track record earlier in life, and was skeptical of ever being good at a sport. But when I tried a BJJ class at 10PDC (started with the women’s class on Fridays), I had a lot of fun with and was able to learn techniques (I was very excited). I was inspired & encouraged by the students and teachers to continue learning! Since then, I’ve been training at this gym for two years and love going to class every day!

10PDC has also been a great community for me to be a part of especially since I moved away from my family in the east coast to start my professional career in the Bay Area.

Definitely recommend trying any of the classes at this gym!!

If you're an introvert like me and you've always wanted to try Jiu Jitsu, I definitely recommend trying 10th planet in Daly City. The staff really try to include you in the lessons and place an emphasis on safety - something I couldn't appreciate enough.

I personally chose to attend the morning classes, taught by Rich Batac. Rich was an excellent trainer and despite only being able to train at 10th planet for around 13 classes, I still felt that I learned a ton. The other classmates at the gym were also really cool. The more experienced among them would take time out of their training to demonstrate techniques. It's a great environment. This was the perfect introduction to my Jiu Jitsu Journey!

10th planet is friendly to all gym that has extremely skilled coaches with years of personal experience. Everyone involved is extremely welcoming and helpful, especially to first timers. If you’re a women looking for self defense classes I highly recommend the women’s free class on Fridays at 5pm. And if you have work early they have a 6am classes as well. Joining this gym has been the best decision!

10th Planet Daly City is an excellent martial arts school for all ages! They offer classes at many different times throughout the day to accommodate all schedules, and the coaching is top tier. Head Coach Gino is as good as they get! Atmosphere is amazing and always welcoming!

Great instructions , great vibe , great gym. They are extremely friendly and just 20 minutes away from SFO, perfect NoGi destination for grapplers passing through SFO

This place is amazing. It offers Yoga, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing and Muay Thai and all at a great price and in a very welcoming environment. All the trainers here are super knowledgable and really helpful. They offer kids and adults classes, beginners and advanced so whether you are old or young, a beginner or a pro this is an amazing place to train, have fun and meet great people.

Gino is a great instructor! He really cares about his student’s progress and helps them reach their needs in jiu jitsu and Muay Thai. The gym culture is awesome as everyone is always considerate with one another when it comes to injuries and overall health. The vibes are awesome as everyone is always joking around with each other and having a great time!
