I went there the other day just made it before they closed! wow o wow I had the best experience ever! Nice lady and young man i went in for the birthday bear my daughter was excited the lady gave her two choose light and dark one. My daughter is always shy and sometimes none verbal and the why she felt comfortable around the lady was so great they don’t treat any kids differently she also let us know about a birthday deal and we got it all cool to put a voice in it! Even helped us dress it and gave mu baby a birthday hat and sticker before we left she asked if we wanted to take a picture to remember this day and gave us a sign that said happy birthday i thought that was awesome so glad we decided to come here this is one birthday she will always remember

When I'd taken my oldest to Build-A-Bear years ago, the staff made it so magical for her.. they had her warm up the heart in her hands, had her give her bear hugs to test the stuffiness, just generally interacted with her with every step.. this location, the lady working barely said two words to me or my son, who was picking a new stuffy for his birthday. No interaction or friendliness. I noticed when we first came in that she had an ear bud in and was having a whole phone conversation with someone while we were shopping and then continued that conversation WHILE "helping us". I was so disappointed that I wanted to walk out and find a location that would actually make my son feel like he was doing something fun and magical. I will be driving the hour+ to the next nearest location when its time for my youngest son to make his BAB. Definitely do not feel like the $60 spent in there today was worth it.

This is my new favorite build a bear!! I usually go to Modesto’s since it’s a bit closer to where I live, but i was given a hard time just the other day when I went! ? I had wanted to do a custom voice recording from a song and the lady had said they couldn’t, due to some new policies? So, I just decided to go to the build a bear in Stockton, just hoping that they would allow me to record a song from my phone, and they did! A young lady named Maya had helped me out with the recording, as that was the only thing I needed help with! ? It was the best experience I’ve ever had! I will definitely be coming back to this build a bear! I left with the biggest smile on my face!

Tried to take my kids for a bear @7 and was told they were closed due to understaffing. There were 2 people present and no customersinthe store. Clearly, they just didn't feel like doing their job. Maybe it was just a bad night but I won't be spending my money there ever again.

It was my grandson Rennen's birthday, so he wanted Build A Bear. He is autistic and struggle's to speak to others.
They make u feel glad to be alive.
The girl was so amazing with him. She ignored us and spoke to him with an energy that he felt to. He not only engaged in conversation, he made eye contact. I haven't felt comfortable ANYWHERE in public since COVID, ANYWHERE, and something made me so at ease, and peaceful. Comfortable. Sounds lame,lol.
They have this little banner, blocking the doorway, and once u cross that line, u enter a magical world.

Build A Bear is located inside Walmart in Hammer Ln. Its pretty cool inside. Check this place out.

This place is pure Magic. We came by and loved the place. My daughter picked out her Bear and we're definitely coming back again

I went there to buy a bear for my grandsons graduation. The person who was working that day was very pleasant, very nice and professional. Even though she looked very young, I felt as if she was a good ant and an excellent caregiver, really good at up selling. The prices are too high for a stuffed animal, but the plus side of it is that you can dress the bear however you want.

Had an awesome experience! I’m 21 and I’ve never been to a build a bear. The employees’ name was Angel and she made my experience super special regardless of my age (Which was so sweet)! We got to pump cotton in our bears, have a cute little cele-bear-tion with the bears’ hearts, and she had the best bear puns! I never thought I would even make a bear at this age but now with this new experience… I definitely would 100/10 recommend a build a bear experience to anyone regardless of age.
