Sur La Table has GREAT cooking and baking classes as well. We just attended a croissant making class with Chef Shabeen and helper John who had the 3 hours fly by with amazing preparation and instruction! PLUS we left with delicious caramelized onion & gruyere cheese croissants and pain au chocolats!

Had so much fun taking a cooking class here with Andrea. The other students didn’t show so it ended up being a private class for my mom and I. You get 10% off in the store on the day of the class.

We had so much fun learning French cooking with Chef Andrea and her team. I came with a small group as an experiential gift and it was more than we could have asked for. Not only was she very funny, we learned some quick, but fancy recipes and had a great meal! I’m using my new knife skills to this day! I highly recommend a Sur La Table cooking class as a GREAT gift idea and if you can get ANDREA, well, that’s a bonus!

I had a cooking class with Elaine and she was amazing! She created an educational class that also allowed us to be really hands on—from prepping ingredients to letting us tweak the recipe to fit our palettes. Although, I do wish there were more advanced classes for those that already know the basics but just want to learn new techniques or more complicated recipes. All in all, I would definitely recommend taking a class with Elaine.

DO NOT SHOP HERE AND DO NOT SHOP CUISINART PRODUCTS.

I purchased the Cuisinart 14-Cup Food Processor here last week (1/3/24) and used it to make hummus ONCE. The Cuisinart processor could NOT blend the hummus smoothly so I had to put in my Vitamix to get it to the right texture. Disappointed in the Cuisinart food processor, which is useless to me given it can't make a basic food item, I tried to return it at Sur La Table. They told me that since it had been used, they could not accept the return. Furthermore, they gave me a customer service number to call, as well as recommended I reach out to Cuisinart customer service. No one is able to help me with my request for a refund. You don't spend $250 on a food processor at a high-end store like Sur La Table to find out it doesn't work on the most basic food preparation.

Given Sur La Table's unreasonable return policy and low-quality products, I will not shop here anymore, nor will I recommend it to anyone. I would have expected that at the very least they would give me store credit for the product to ameliorate the poor experience with their product.

can't comment on the kitchenware since I didn't make a purchase, but just leaving a review to commend employee anneke for her extremely warm attitude and willingness to help!

This is the best place to find great cookware, specially french brands. But last time I went to purchase a coffee machine, the seller was some kind of coffee snob that made me feel ashamed of buying an entry level machine. This was not an enjoyable experience.
I've been drinking espresso daily for 30+ years, had various machines from entry level to fairly expensive, please respect that I just need a no fuss espresso and a $300 machine can perfectly serve this need. Heck, even a 150 Euros Dedica does this perfectly fine in Europe.

i’ve taken two cooking classes at two Sur La Table locations and they have both been great. This time I took a French pastry class where we made croissants and kouign amann from scratch. I didn’t know it could be done in 3 hours but we did it and they turned out beautifully. Chef Andrea and her crew made the process really easy and she explained the steps in simple terms. It was really helpful and the pastries were delish.
