Vons in Santa Paula has a huge selection of everything. The bakery has some of the best ready to eat food. The store is clean and the staff are pleasant and are good at customer service. The only complaint I have is the cost of food has nearly doubled and it's not just Vons, it's everywhere. The cost of living has far exceeded the cost of living pay increase. Most people can't afford the food I hope it doesn't just get thrown away because nobody bought it. Maybe we will all lose some weight because we've gotten a bit fluffier over the years and we should probably not eat so much (I speak for myself but you're welcome to join me)...Back to Vons - they're one of the best grocery stores in the area 👍 favorite pieces of cake (carrot and german chocolate)

We’ve given this Vons multiple chances, but every trip seems to result in us bringing home something rotten or expired. And no, this isn’t a case of not checking labels—we always check expiration dates. Just last week, we bought whipping cream that was supposedly good, only to get home and find it chunky and rotten.

Tonight was the worst yet—my partner picked up shrimp from the seafood deli for Valentine’s Day, and as soon as we opened it, the entire house reeked from how spoiled it was. This isn’t just a one-time mistake; it’s a repeated pattern of poor quality control.

It’s incredibly frustrating that this is the only major grocery store in Santa Paula, and I can’t recommend buying anything perishable from here. Something needs to change.

Vons in general is just more expensive, but if I only need a few items, then once you calculate the gas used to get to Ventura or Oxnard, the price is comparableOne of only 2 grocery stores around.
I'm comparison to other Vons stores, they are almost always out of stock on more popular items, but it's getting better.
The store is always clean, the employees cordial.
Over all shopping here is alright

This Vons is very clean and neat! I always find everything I’m looking for! The only concern I have is one of the supervisors named Tiffany is extremely rude. I went in there asking a question and not only did I feel belittled but she had an extreme attitude that I couldn’t believe was happening considering the fact that I’m a friendly person and I also work with the public for the county. I did mention it to another worker and that’s when she mentioned that she was one of the supervisors. If there had been a manager at the moment, I would’ve brought it to their attention however she really is not fit to be considered a supervisor, considered a customer service worker!

I just went into this location. Everyone is friendly, and the store is clean. There is a large selection of items. My cashier was Rosa and she was so kind and had a welcoming smile on her face. I did not get the name of the gentleman that was bagging my groceries… he was kind. I will definitely be back to this Vons. Keep up the good work team. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The guy with one arm gave me the worst attitude for no reason and I came with no bad vibes just pure smiles and I tried to redeem a coupon for a item and I only asked to be directed but he had no interest in helping the only person that came to help was the nice man bagging the groceries.

I went to Vons with my grandmother today and we got the Gatorade that’s on sale. We went through self checkout. The sale price didn’t come off. Tiffany took the time to help us download the app and get us the deals. She was very nice and patient.
