Steps to Success is a true treasure and guiding light in our Santa Cruz community for families and students needing academic guidance and tutoring. My experience with them has always been focused on my son’s unique circumstances with pragmatic strategies to help him achieve academically and for my husband and I to learn how to advocate for him in the public school system. We all fell in deep admiration for the owner upon our first meeting and knew right then that this was a special place. A place for our son who immediately began his tutoring starting in the 7th grade and who is now in his final year of high school at a college preparatory school receiveing acceptances to colleges near and far!! Thank you Steps!!

It's been our great fortune to work with this exceptional team of Educational Therapists, only two over the past 7 years, who tailor every session to meet my son’s weekly academic and personal needs. Their tutoring sessions are a real counterbalance to the frustrations most these students can feel in the classroom setting and at the kitchen table. Honestly, the best help we gave our son was stepping away from school work battles to assisting from the sidelines with guidance and updates from his Educational Therapist. Can you say, “Stress relief?f”

My son has grown much over the past few years and developed a true connection with an adult outside of the family who really cares about his well-being and success in life. This is an immeasurable gift from her (his wonderful and compassionate Ed. therapist) to a tween/teenager/young man who needed someone to understand his unique challenges and guide him with understanding while maintaining his dignity, self esteem and curiosity to learn.

I am forever grateful for the support this team of highly educated and compassionate Educational Therapists has given to me and my son! Words can barely express how these amazing human beings changed the lives of my son and our family just by doing their very best for each individual that enters their center.
