My family recently took a shotgun fundamentals course for home defense. My wife has never used a shotgun and came from a family that did not own firearms. By the end of the course, she was shooting bird shot, buck and slug and on target. The instructors calm but firm directions were perfect rather than a husband trying to give instructions. My son also gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, ability and confidence. There is lots of free content on YouTube but deciphering between good and bad content can be difficult. I recommend this course for your safety and the others around you. It's better to take lessons from those who lived it then what we see in the movies.
